When people think of recycling today, they may think of a green triangle formed from three arrows, or a leaf with the planet Earth inside of it.
When I think of recycling, I think of a magnet. Believe it or not, the magnet is our best tool at Friedland for distinguishing one metal from another. Determining whether or not a metal sticks to a magnet is the first step in processing it for recycling. But, how?
