Sculpture in the City: Stairs

Stairs On the junction of Bishopsgate and London Wall corner, a bronze sculpture depicts two women passing each other on a set of stairs – and that is the title of the late Lynn Chadwick’s work. During the installation of Stairs on the nearby busy pavement, Jess Fletcher from Blain Southern art gallery, which is supporting Sculpture in the City 2014, talks to Andrew Buckingham from the City of London Corporation, one of the public art exhibition’s partners.
