Sculpture in the City: Salvia and Deadly Nightshade

Jun 20, 2014, 01:19 PM

In the shade of Gherkin (30 St. Mary Axe), Salvia, one of Julian Wild's (@jrewild) art works in Sculpture in the City 2014, depicts a small purple flowering plant.. The other, Deadly Nightshade, creeps up the side of a Natwest bank like the pernicious weed that it is named after. Beginning with Salvia, George Marsh (@GWBMarsh), the curator-director of the William Benington Gallery (@WillBenGallery), which is supporting Sculpture in the City, talks to Andrew Buckingham from the City of London Corporation, one of the project partners.
