Zimbabwean author NoViolet Bulawayo discusses her career

Zimbabwean author NoViolet Bulawayo is the first black African female to be shortlisted for the prestigious Man Booker prize, for her debut novel 'We Need New Names'. The book is a snapshot of life in #Zimbabwe under President Robert Mugabe. It has won her fame and much recognition. She spoke to Focus on Africa's Frenny Jowi in Nairobi, where she's currently on tour. Our reporter started by asking her if she was surprised by how well her book is being received.
