Calibre Audio Library

Calibre Audio Library is a national charity that brings the pleasure of reading to people who have sight problems, dyslexia, or other physical disabilities through a subscription-free, nationwide postal and streaming service of recorded books. We offer a choice of over 8,500 titles, fiction and non-fiction, recorded unabridged by professional actors and broadcasters. This includes 1,600 in the Young Calibre library for those who are under 16. We are the only audio library to offer books on USB memory sticks as well as on MP3 CDs. A catalogue of our titles is available online as well as in large print. Application forms are available from Calibre Audio Library. Our contact times are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Calibre staff will be demonstrating a selection of their books on the Boombox and Sovereign USB stick players and via streaming. They will be available to discuss membership packages including their free 3 month trial option.
