Dorset watchmaker Elliot Brown celebrate their first birthday

Elliot Brown is based in Hamworthy in Poole; it was officially launched at the London Watch Show last July.

It was set up by Ian Elliot, one of the founders of the sports brand Animal, and Alex Brown who worked in the watch department there for almost twenty years.

Last year, one of their two watches - the Bloxworth - won the Rising Star accolade at the Watch of the Year awards (yes, that's actually a thing!)

BBC Radio Solent's Steve Harris went to have a look around their base yesterday, and found out, not only do they have a lot of fun testing their watches, but each watch also contains a Dorset themed secret.
