One of Europe's biggest budget airlines has grand plans to tempt more people to fly across the Atlantic. Norwegian Air Shuttle has just launched flights from London to Los Angeles, at about half the cost of rivals, with services to New York and Florida to follow in the next few days. If they succeed in transatlantic budget air travel where others have failed, it'll mean more planes in the air.
