African health ministers are today in Accra for an urgent summit on how to contain the spread of the virus - which the World Health Organisation says is out of control. To date, three countries in West Africa are gravely affected. Guinea, the hardest hit, shares borders with Liberia where a Ugandan doctor there today became the latest victim and Sierra Leone. Both countries have threatened to prosecute those hiding suspected patients. Dr. Abubakar Fofana is Sierra Leone's deputy health minister. BBC Focus on Africa’s Akwasi Sarpong put it to him that using the law against people harbouring suspected patients is counter-productive.
