Felicity Ayles shares her story of post-natal depression with Breakfast in Dorset 103.8fm
One in 10 women develops a mental illness during pregnancy or within the first year after having a baby.
Felicity Ayles from Weymouth gave birth to William last July. He was six weeks premature and very tiny - only 2lb 11oz.
Four months after his birth, she began crying one night and didn't stop for four hours.
It was only when her mum recognised the symptoms of post-natal depression that she went to her GP for advice.
Here she tells Steve Harris her story.
