Few could have forseen today's events in Abuja. After months of campaigning by Bring back our girls activists and others for President Goodluck Jonathan to meet with parents of the abducted Chibok girls he had agreed to grant an audience to them... That was due to happen this afternoon, but at the eleventh hour the selected relatives who were due to go to the Presidential Villa announced they no longer wanted to meet him. Over two hundred and nineteen girls are still in captivity - held by Boko Haram militants who kidnapped them three months ago. ... So why the change of heart? From Abuja, I spoke to Nigerian Presidential spokesman Doyin Okupe, and also Dauda Iliya, spokesman for the Chibok community in Abuja.
