On Morning Call today, Mai Davies asked why are we still using our phones when we drive?

A judge has described the use of mobile phones whilst driving as 'a plague on society'. He was speaking as he sentenced a driver to jail after she had caused the death of another driver by dangerous driving. She had been using two mobile phones just before she collided with 27 year old, Sukhdeep Singh Johal. Speaking after the sentencing, his brother said this was a crazy thing to do. His father said, said their only hope as a family now is that others would learn from this.
