The Serpent

The serpent in the grass draws near to you, uninvited- yet quickly slithers past. The fear amongst you, duly noted- As the fellow hides from you since vanquishing is of human notoriety- freaks of nature- executioners of snake and lamb. What god wrought the Earth with such demonic miscreants? One who must love to flirt with the misery and death chants of running rivers of blood from the hearts of creatures subdued. #fieryverse #SpeakPoetry
