New water charges lead to a flood of complaints in Ireland

Do you pay for the water that comes out of your tap? In many countries, it's just another part of the household budget. In Ireland though, water charges come into force for the first time today. It's an austerity measure ordered as part of the country's international bailout programme. The Irish water industry needs a major overhaul - expected to cost almost two billion euro over the next two years. But the plan to bill households directly for their water is not proving popular, as the BBC's Diarmaid Fleming reports from Dublin.
