The serious consequences of budget cuts in Northern Ireland have been in the headlines for weeks. This morning we're going to hear the first hand implications of budget pressures for people living here. Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. It affects 3,500 people in Northern Ireland - which is around one in 500 of the population. It's a very scary condition, for which there is currently no cure. Nolan Show listener, Sammy, has got in touch with the programme. His GP thinks he has Parkinson's but Sammy's told the show he's been waiting seven months to be assessed by a specialist.
