Lesotho rivals agree election

Elections in #Lesotho have now been brought forward and will take place next year, two years earlier than planned. This was announced by South Africa's Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa who has been mediating on behalf of SADC-the Southern African Development Community. The talks were aimed at finding a solution after an attempted coup by the military on 30th August. Parliament, which was suspended by Prime Minister Tom Thabane fearing a vote of no confidence, will now be recalled. But will this ease the mounting tension in the country?
