Secret Agreement Briefly Reinstated South L.A. Teacher-molester

The LAUSD signed a confidential agreement with now-imprisoned ex teacher Mark Berndt that reinstated him as a teacher -- even after he'd been arrested on suspicion of committing lewd acts with children. The agreement, just unsealed in the civil lawsuits stemming from the abuse at Miramonte Elementary, also included a gag order, that could block Berndt from ever discussing what happened in criminal or civil court.
