The Story of How Sociologist AH Halsey Became Reith Lecturer in 1978

The sociologist and champion of the comprehensive school AH Halsey has died at the age of 91.

Back in 2008 he told Laurie Taylor how he came to be asked to present the Reith Lectures in 1978.
