Major decision to fund additional registered nurses across Fife

NHS Fife has begun a major new recruitment drive that will significantly enhance the nursing workforce. The initiative will recruit an additional 100 nurses, above current funded staffing levels and will bolster the provision of nurses across seven sites; Victoria Hospital, Queen Margaret Hospital, Cameron Hospital, Glenrothes Hospital, Adamson Hospital, St Andrews Community Hospital, and Randolph Wemyss Hospital. It follows a comprehensive Nursing Workforce Review, which profiled existing nursing staff numbers and assessed them against modern-day health requirements.
