The leader of the British forces called it "the Day the 2nd Worcesters saved the British Empire"......Today marks the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Gheluvelt.....when 187 out of the 370 men from the Worcestershire Regiment were killed or wounded - in one of THE defining moments of the 1st World War.
