Italy's economy has not grown for more than three years. The latest figures show output shrank again between July and September, pushing the country back into technical recession. As part of his drive to tackle the problem, the country's new Prime Minister Matteo Renzi wants to make it easier for companies to hire and fire workers. He says existing laws unfairly benefit those who already have a permanent job. However, his reform plan is meeting a lot of resistance. On Friday, transport workers went on strike, hitting commuters in the capital Rome, from where the BBC's James Reynolds sent us his report.
