Coffee House Sessions with Kimberly Anne

The Coffee House Sessions are a chance for you to see some of the country’s most exciting and upcoming artists perform at universities across the country, including at the University of London Union (ULU). 30 different universities across the country have taken part in the scheme where artists perform 30-minute acoustic sets at different student spots up and down the country.

All of the artists are approved by BBC Radio 1’s ‘Introducing’ presenter Ally McCrae and the project has previously helped with the success of Hudson Taylor, Stephanie Fraser and many more.

Last week acoustic pop singer songwriter Kimberly Anne played a special set for the Coffee House Sessions. With an album due for release early 2015 as well as festival performances, Kimberly Anne is set to storm the music world over the coming months so keep a close eye on her movements.

Our reporter Stephen Mitchell went down to Wednesday's Coffee Sessions to have a chat with Kimberly Anne before her performance to chat all things EP's, albums, 2015 gigs and what Kimberly would not write lyrics about which led the conversation down a different path.

Kimberly started off by telling us how she started off in music from a young age to get where she is now.
