"NO PRISON HERE"

West Jordan residents and community leaders gathered today at the Sunset Ridge Middle School to voice their concerns with the Prison Relocation Commission's recommendation to build a prison in West Jordan. City Mayor Kim Rolfe addressed the crowd saying, "This really is the place for our state's future. Its not a place for a prison." The Mayors from South Jordan, Herriman and Taylorsville were also in attendance to lend their support to West Jordan.
