Stolen guns recovered

The United States District Court District of Utah has issued an indictment against a Pleasant Grove man. Shawn Phillip Hansen is accused of stealing 42 firearms from his employer. The owner of the firearms noticed something was amiss when a particularly valuable weapon had gone missing. An audit of the inventory revealed many more missing guns. Springville Police and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms investigated the theft and served a warrants Hansen. A trial has been set for January 26th. The stolen guns had an estimated value of over $100,000 and they were all recovered. Hansen faces 10 years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.
