Household Narrative (1.1.1850) Inspiration for Miss Havisham (Great Expectations)

I'm reading an extract from 'Household Narrative', the monthly supplement for 'Household Words', January 1st, 1850. Another source of inspiration for the character of Miss Havisham from Great Expectations (1861) by Charles #Dickens was the real life death of recluse Martha Joachim.
