The favouriite Ptit Zig is on course for the Festival in March after an impressive win in the Betbright sponsored Dipper Novices Chase, the Grade 2 feature of the New Years Day card at Cheltenham. He stayed on strongly up the hill to beat Champagne West and give Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls his second winner of the day, and one that had Festival hopeful written all over it.
