Police have launched a murder inquiry after a man was shot dead in Ballymoney last night. Local people in the small north Antrim town have been stunned to wake up to the horrific news this morning. It happened outside a house at Riverview Park just before 10.30pm and a woman who lived in the house was assaulted and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
