An attempt by right wing extremists in Denmark to emulate the big anti Islamic rallies in Germany has ended in failure. Anti racists outnumbered the anti Muslim demonstrators by a ratio of 10 -1. Across Germany tens of thousands joined rallies organised by a group called PEGIDA or Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West. Chancellor Angela Merkel has labelled PEGIDA as prejudiced and hateful. And hatred was plainly on view in the Danish town of Haderslev as Malcolm Brabant reports
