After winning his third Ballon d'Or Christiano Ronaldo backed his Real Madrid team mate Gareth Bale. The Welsh International was booed by some Madrid supporters when, instead of laying on a tap-in for Ronaldo, he opted to go for goal himself and shot wide in a game against Espanyol.
