Did you know that Pablo Picasso was fingered and brought in for questioning for stealing the Mona Lisa? People want beauty in their lives and sometimes they will do anything to get it.
Back in 1911, The Mona Lisa was stolen from The Louvre. For all you art history enthusiasts, the Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci sometime between 1503 and 1507. I wonder how many times it was stolen between then and 1911. Four hundred years is a long time. A lot can happen and not all of it makes it to the pages of a history book.
