The Future of Stationery

Natassia Caffery likes stationery but is puzzled as to why it’s so special to her. Is it true that physical items of paper and card have more meaning now in an increasingly digital age where they are scarcer?

Is it inevitable that stationery will one day die out as offices jettison their paper and should we care? Or perhaps it could become like vinyl, thought of as precious and a novelty.

We hear from James Ward, author of Adventures In Stationery and other stationery enthusiasts to find out why these objects are important to them. We’ll find out from a futurologist whether or not the human race will one day say goodbye to stationery.
