Find someone you trust to talk to says Coronation Street's Liz Macdonald as new figures suggest more than half of us wait more than a year to tell anyone when they have a mental health problem.

A survey published today's revealed that nearly 60% of people with a mental health problem wait over a year, to tell the people closest to them about it. The study, carried out by the campaign "Time to Change" had responses from nearly 6,000 people, who have direct experience of a mental health problems. The actress Beverley Callard plays the part of barmaid Liz McDonald in Coronation Street. She says she's been affected by mental health issues both on - and off-screen. Here she's talking to the BBC's Nina Warhurst.
