"Ace Walker & Joe Cipriano On Acid"

In September 1994, Tom Rounds asked me to return to LA to produce and direct the new Radio Express show. It was an expansion of American Top 40. The jingles were done by Remi Kabaka's group, the Rolling Stones African percussionists. After hundreds of auditions we selected Ace and Joe as hosts, the first coed personalities on a countdown. Getting a handle on hits from around the world was tricky business. One day I booted up my Mac and heard the familiar startup "Boing." The two of them ad libbed into hysteria, at least their own.
