FM All the Way on Radio 2

From their launch in 1967 Radio 1 and Radio 2 had to share the valuable 88-91 FM resource (VHF back then of course). Radio 1 finally got its own FM service in 1988 but it still continued to share with Radio 2 on Sunday afternoons, during the chart show, right up until March 1990. Sunday 1 April 1990 saw Radio 2 on FM all day with the Charlie Chester show between 5 and 7 pm. Here, announcing the change a couple of days beforehand, is Richard Clegg.
