Are 16-year-olds too young to vote? @adi_peltz & @DVATW debate

Today a vote will be taking in the Dáil on the possibility of lowering the voting age to 16 in the South and Sinn Fein are calling on Stormont to follow suit. They say that many 16 and 17 year-olds play a vital role in society and can live independently at the age so should have the right to vote. Recently Scotland lowered the age to vote to 16 for the Independence referendum.

Should the voting age in Northern Ireland be lowered to 16?
