Tax avoidance and evasion has been in the headlines all week long MPs are to investigate allegations that HSBC's Swiss private bank helped clients dodge tax. Ed Miliband and David Cameron have been clashing on tax, with Labour making claims in Parliament about "dodgy donors" supporting the Tory Party. But here's the question we're asking today - is tax avoidance morally wrong? Tax evasion is illegal. Tax avoidance isn't But is it the right thing to do? Is it our duty to pay every penny the taxman wants - happy that the money pays for vital public services?
