"Everybody loves heritage, but nobody really wants to pay for it"

Kelowna pays $35,000 per year to help heritage building owners maintain their classic structures. That's total, with a maximum of $5,000 per building owner. Money is hard to come by at other levels of government too. That prompted Heritage Society executive director, Janice Henry, to say this.
