Aberdeen SNP Group Announces Intervention On Marischal Square

A bid has been made to halt the controversial Marischal Square development by Aberdeen council's SNP group.

They're calling for a moratorium on the project until cross-party talks are made on how it can be redesigned to reduce it's visual impact on the town centre.

The group is also calling for a report to be put to full council next month outlining the legal implications of withdrawing the contract from muse developments.

SNP Group Leader Callum McCaig spoke to Original 106 Head of News Davy Shanks about the motion.
