Our guest today was a pop music icon and star of stage and screen. David Essex became a megastar in the Seventies thanks to hits like Hold Me Close and Gonna Make You A Star. He has showed no end to his talents with starring roles in musicals, films and even the soaps, with a part in Eastenders. And he has now brought out a new poetry book, Travelling Tinker Man & Other Rhymes.
