Private parking companies are to keep money they generate from fines, instead of the money going into the NHS.

Private parking companies are being allowed to keep some of the money they raise from parking fines at dozens of NHS hospitals in the UK. The investigation also found the total number of parking tickets issued to motorists in the UK by private companies has increased fivefold in the past five years.
