LGBT General Election Debate Student Pride

A heated political debate was hosted during National #StudentPride this afternoon hosted by the BBC's Evan Davies with representatives from four political parties.
On the panel were journalist and author Owen Jones alongside Amelia Womack, the Deputy Leader of the Green Party, Lord Michael Cashman from Labour, Lib Dem MP Simon Hughes and Conservative MP Mike Freer. UKIP were invited.
During the debate students were asked to show their voting intentions which saw Green come out on top with roughly 27 votes, Labour 25, Lib Dem 6, Conservative 5 and UKIP 0.
