Don't teach schoolchildren French, teach them Spanish, Arabic or Mandarin, so says one Conservative member of the Scottish Parliament. Murdo Fraser was speaking ahead of a visit there by the French Ambassador prompting a stushi in English and in Francais with those who disagree. We wanted to hear about why you should learn French, so we spoke to Andrew Hussey, a Professor at UCL based in Paris. He told us how speaking French changed his life.
