NXP to divest HPRF segment in merger with Freescale

Responding to a question from semiconductor analyst Blaine Curtis, NXP's CEO Rick Clemmer discloses that NXP will divest their high performance RF business to avoid possible regulatory issues with the acquisition of Freescale. Combined, Freescale and NXP would hold >70% share of the high power LDMOS transistor market.
