"I knew I had the truth" - parents against the system

Two parents caught up in separate public scandals discuss how hard it was to get those in authority to listen.

This week, we heard the full details of an Oxfordshire child exploitation ring and the deaths of eleven babies and one mother at Furness maternity unit. Failings were identified at almost every level at the hospital in Barrow but when Carl Hendrickson tried to take up the deaths of his wife Nittaya and son Chester, he was rebuffed. A mother we're calling Elizabeth told the authorities in Oxford of her fears that her daughter was being trafficked for sex.

Carl and Elizabeth have never met but agreed to share their stories.
