In the 13th century, there was once a hospital that was used as a place for the sick, and for people to rest. Not long after it was built, the Black Death plague settled in and hundreds of people died. Some of the bodies ended up buried underneath the Paris Supermarket that now stands on what was known as the Trinity Hospital.
