NASA's satellite Dawn enters orbit around Ceres, a dwarf planet, on Friday. Ceres is not only a dwarf planet but a protoplanet, which is a planet that never fully came together, and offers a window into what the early solar system looked like. Dawn found some very bright spots on Ceres that are completely unknown and unique to our solar system.
