Kacey Musgraves

In her first ever Australian performance, two-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves (USA) traveled to Brisbane to appear appear at CMC Rocks QLD 2015, held at Willowbank Raceway. But, she found time in her busy schedule to drop in on Walter Williams and perform an acoustic version of her newest song 'Biscuits'.

Since the release of her major label (now gold-selling) debut album in 2012, “Same Trailer, Different Park”, Texan-born Musgraves has become one of the most acclaimed young singer-songwriters in music today. Her authentic charisma, clever and playful word play; her honest and tolerant world view channeled through her lyrics; has won her commercial success, critical praise and a devoted fan base.

Global pop superstar Katy Perry includes herself among Musgraves’ fans and invited Kacey to join her on her 2014 US Tour.
