Yulia Pererva discusses a Council of Europe project designed to improve the teaching of Europe's controversial subjects.

“Controversial issues are issues on which there are very strong opinions and which divide society,” Pererva says of the €100,000 programme.

"The idea is to develop an understanding on why it’s important to bring controversial subjects into school. The feedback that we have received has been extremely positive."
