Firefighter raised safety concerns in the week before his death

The Scottish Fire Service has been fined £54,000 for health and safety failings over the death of Ewan Williamson, 35, who died tackling a blaze in a pub in Edinburgh in 2009. Speaking outside court, his family's lawyer Syd Smith revealed that Ewan had grave safety concerns which he had raised with his family.
