France has voted to ban ultra-thin models to try and stop anorexia in the industry and in teenagers. French MPs have approved the plans that will make it a crime for fashion agencies to use dangerously thin models.

In Nottingham, Derby and Leicester some shoppers have told Capital they'd like bigger mannequins in shops to represent more sizes. In Italy, models have to show health certificates before they can go on the catwalk and in Spain, models are banned from fashion shows in Madrid if they're below a certain BMI.
