The chairman of a leading Glentoran supporters club has called on fans to boycott this seasons Irish Cup Final, even though the team he supports will be playing in the end of season decider. The closure of Windsor Park because of damage caused to one of the stands means the game will be played at Glentoran's home ground, The Oval instead. Michael Wilson, chairman of Cookstown Glentoran Supporters Club, told the Belfast Telegraph that until the Irish Football Association explains why it hadn't explored the possibility of using The Kingspan stadium to host the final and also why the tickets were being sold via online booking website Ticketmaster then fans should consider a boycott.
